Newgas is an LPG Cylinder Bottling provider in Ghana and a subsidiary of Arch Holdings Limited, a wholly-owned Ghanaian entity, with interests in petroleum trading & distribution, terminals & infrastructure development, power generation and technology & communications sectors.
Newgas was birthed as part of Arch holdings wood fuels to LPG conversion program and also in response to the Government of Ghana’s agenda to implement the Cylinder Recirculation Model (CRM) in Ghana to promote the use of LPG as a clean cooking fuel. Newgas is actively involved in the development of a number of LPG cylinder bottling plants. These plants will play a crucial role in facilitating the distribution and uptake of LPG, replacing traditional wood fuels for cooking purposes. The first of these bottling plants is in Tema. This will be followed by one in Kumasi and then four (4) satellite plants in four key regions of Ghana.
